Shelter proudly introduces the new model 9000 cartridge. The Model 9000 replaces the highly regarded Shelter 90X. The Shelter 90X has accumulated multiple awards including The Absolute Sound's 2004 Golden Ear, Phono Cartridge of the Year & 2004, 2005 & 2006 Editor's Choice Awards from Stereophile Magazine!

The Shelter 9000's new cartridge design technology allows the cartridge to reach new levels of dynamics and quietness for a smooth and effortless sonic presentation. The Shelter 9000 is a complete departure from the current line of Shelter cartridges. Newly designed body, high rigidity, improved front-yoke, larger diameter PC-OCC lead wires wound around the redesigned bobbin.
