The legendary L.A. pop rockers The Association set the record charts on fire in the sixties and beyond with their superstar brand of harmony-driven vocal rock and pop music. The band included the stellar musicianship of Jules Alexander, Terry Kirkman, Jim Yester, Larry Ramos, Russ Giguere, Brian Cole and Ted Bluechel, Jr. They would soon go on to sell millions of records with their first two chart-topping hits: the controversial "Along Comes Mary" and, of course, the ultimate #1 love song of 1966, "Cherish."

With a dazzling number of chart-topping singles and LPs already under their belts, fortune would continue for the band as they kicked off the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967, which helped launch their hipness factor to a whole new generation, as more smash hits like "Windy" and "Never My Love" filled the airwaves throughout the Summer of Love and beyond.

With superstar producers like Bones Howe, Curt Boettcher and Jerry Yester on the mixing boards, The Association truly delivered a plethora of powerful albums like Along Come The Association, Insight Out and Birthday. These recordings would take the band to the top of all the popular music charts and would become some of the finest top 40 and rock radio hits of all time. With their massive radio airplay and an amazing string of hit records, The Association to this day are still revered and loved by their continual growing legion of fans worldwide.

After delivering a plethora of hits in rapid succession for Warner Bros. Records, the label honored this hugely popular band with their incredible greatest hits album simply titled Greatest Hits!.

Filled with a treasure trove of chart-topping singles and hit album tracks from their smash albums, this incredible 1968 effort awarded these rock legends with one of the best-selling greatest hits albums ever released.

All your favorites are here, as this masterpiece is loaded with hit after hit with smash singles like "Time for Livin'," "Everything That Touches You," "Like Always," "No Fair at All" and the album-only version of the sixties classic "Six Man Band." All in all, a collection of songs which took the fans by storm!
