This was one of JVC Music's first five full-length releases on it's XRCD Series (extended resolution CD) with the enhanced process of mastering and manufacturing that brings the listener high fidelity and improved audio quality. The XRCD is compatible with all CD players. This big band recording features the Grammy Award-winning "But Beautiful." More than any other arranger, Bill Holman truly qualifies as an unsung legend. The XRCD recording of this release includes a bonus track previously unavailable in the U.S. This is the superior audiophile version of the Grammy Award winning JVC debut release from Holman's big band.

Recorded live directly to two-track by Allen Sides on April 24th and 25th, 1995. Produced by Akira Taguchi.
