Originally released in 1979, Million Mile Reflections contains the group's best known single "The Devil Went Down To Georgia".

The album's title references the band having passed the million mile mark in its touring. The song "Reflections" is a tribute to Elvis Presley, Janis Joplin, and Ronnie Van Zant, and the album is also dedicated to Van Zant.
