The Colour of Classics series was created in 1998 to celebrate the centenary of the Deutsche Grammophon label. This 1999 box set features Martha Argerich's interpretation of Prokofieff's Piano Concerto No. 3 in C Major & Ravel's Piano Concerto in G Major; Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli's take on Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Wiener Symphoniker conducted by Carlo Maria Giulini; and, finally, Maurizio Pollini's recording of Chopin's Études Op. 10 & 25.
