The Flaming Lips' 1st EP Newly Reissued and Signed by Wayne Coyne on Limited Edition Green Vinyl! Limited to 1500 Copies!

The Flaming Lips is the debut release by American rock group The Flaming Lips, released in 1984. The last time this EP was available on vinyl was in 1986.

Originally recorded in two sessions at Benson Sound in 1984. The first session in the Spring and the final session in early Summer. Initially released on the group's homemade label, Lovely Sorts of Death, in late 1984 with its original cover and insert, the band made two batches of 1000. Round one was on green vinyl and the second on red. Later it was issued on Pink Dust Records with a different cover on purple vinyl.

Each copy of this new reissue is signed by Wayne Coyne himself. This edition has been remastered by the bassist for the band, Michael Ivins. It sounds slightly louder in all frequencies but all song times and transitions have been preserved. This edition was pressed at A&R Records in Dallas and has a reimagined cover painted by freak artist, Charlie Immer.
