Limited Deluxe Edition 2CD, 4K Blu-Ray & 4K DVD Set!
Special Edition Four Disc Bespoke Package With Newly Restored Film!

Perfect-bound hardcover book with foldout gatefold design. Dual-format edition contains all extras, 2 CD soundtrack, essays and photographs from 1968. Hi-Resolution Mix and transfer of Soundtrack, expanded with 8 bonus tracks, including newly discovered audio. Features bonus performances, commentary tracks, and a video interview with Pete Townshend. Stunning 4K restoration performed in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos Sound. First time on Blu-Ray - now with Dolby ATMOS.

Directed by Let It Be's Michael Lindsay-Hogg, the performance was recorded in front of a live audience in London in 1968 and was originally conceived as a BBC-TV special.

"It was an incredible shoot, I think, 36 hours or something," said Keith Richards of the historic day back in December '68. "I remember not remembering everything towards the endÂ… but it was funÂ… we went through two audiencesÂ… wore one outÂ… it was great!"

The Rolling Stones Rock And Roll Circus has received a 4K Dolby Vision restoration of the concert film on Blu-Ray and DVD, with the soundtrack also remixed and expanded to 28 songs for the double CD.

The show also featured performances from The Who, Jethro Tull, Taj Mahal, Marianne Faithfull, Yoko Ono, as well as ‘supergroup’ The Dirty Mac – consisting of Eric Clapton, Keith Richards, Mitch Mitchell of The Jimi Hendrix Experience and John Lennon. Unheard tracks by the collective are available on this release for the first time ever.

Bonus material also features recordings by the late concert pianist Julius Katchen, three additional songs by Taj Mahal and never before heard recordings of The Dirty Mac performing The Beatles classic, 'Revolution' and the aptly titled track 'Warmup Jam'.

The Limited Deluxe Edition includes the film on Blu-Ray and DVD, plus the 2CD expanded soundtrack, and a perfect-bound 44-page book with custom foldout gatefold design. The book also includes David Dalton's original 1969 Rolling Stone essay and on-set photographs by Mike Randolf.

"You are about to be transported to another age: swinging London in the late sixties. The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus is a time capsule. Two days in December 1968 that in many ways capture the spontaneity, aspirations and communal spirit of an entire era. ...for a brief moment it seemed that rock 'n' roll would inherit the earth." - David Dalton

"Multicolored, eternally young and absolutely gorgeous." - Rolling Stone

"...brings back the sleek young Stones in all their insolent glory, recalling a time when they ruled the roost." - New York Times

"The whole thing is awash with skewed period charm, with the late-'60s 'anything goes' mentality..." - The Guardian
