The Staves Dead & Born & Grown (10th Anniversary) LP (Recycled Color Vinyl)

The Staves' debut album Dead & Born & Grown is celebrating its tenth anniversary, and, to celebrate, the album will be released on recycled colored vinyl. Produced with Glyn and Ethan Johns, who have worked with a plethora of artists from past and present between them, including The Beatles and The Rolling Stones to The Vaccines and Kings of Leon. This special edition recycled vinyl is made from 100% PVC recycled material, using waste material and clippings from previous record pressings. The result is that each vinyl is unique with its own color combination.

Clear, confident, and classy, the Staves (along with their producers) know that their ability to harmonize (or just sing in perfect, familial unison) is their calling card, and the instrumentation is calibrated according to that knowledge, allowing their vocals to sit fairly high in the mix, which gives stand-out cuts like 'Winter Trees,' 'The Motherlode,' and the lovely, and surprisingly timeless-sounding title track, a genuine warmth, as well as an air of real intimacy that stands in stark contrast to many of their contemporaries.
