180g Vinyl LP!
Cut from the Original Analog Master Tapes!
Includes "Cheap Sunglasses"!
The sixth studio album by the iconic rock band ZZ Top was originally released in 1979 and contains the hit song "Cheap Sunglasses." Deguello translates from Spanish to English as "beheading" or "no quarter," as in "no surrender."
Most ZZ Top fans consider Deguello to be the last link to the band's characteristic early blues-rock; they moved to a more accessible sound with their '80s releases El Loco, Eliminator, and Afterburner. Ending the '70s on a high note for the band, Deguello includes a pair of the group's biggest classic rock staples — the funky "Cheap Sunglasses," and the anthemic "I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide" — and continued the Texas trio's winning streak.
