1986 Recording on 180g Vinyl LP!

The last of the seven recordings Chet Baker made for SteepleChase is from 1986. Chet visited Copenhagen in February 1986 to make a TV show and then went into a Copenhagen studio with American/European first-rate rhythm section. It was two years before his tragic and untimely death in Amsterdam at age 58. Baker's life was still shaky but productive as far as recordings and live performance are concerned. "...A rather melancholic session, but one of the better ones from the period. Lacy is a much-underrated piano player. He gives Chet a great deal of room... Lundgaard and Uotila are both thoroughly professional and contribute to a fine, unpredictable set." (The Penguin Guide to Jazz)
