vinyl perfection!

I have spent up to $130.00 on various albums, including- ONE-STEP MOBILE FIDELITY full analog re-issues and digital to analog re-issues, ANALOGUE PRODUCTIONS/QRP, all analogue re-issues, CLASSICAL RECORDINGS re-issues, most of these limited runs and 45 rpm and a few 33-1/2 rpm's and this is just to name a few. These I consider to be investment grade and therefore should be free of flaws. I figure for this kind of money each and every record should be checked or when received, and there is a problem, there should be an easy path towards a full refund/replacement. QRP blew me off on a couple of occasions- something I want to share with you all. I have had a mixed bag of results with these recordings with most being very good but with some having an unfortunate amount of surface noise and some shockingly having obvious pressing imperfections with pops, scratches and ticks! I am not naive and understand that there are limitations with such production runs let alone the roll the dice nature of vinyl. Still, I love it so much! And would not want to give up my most cherished recordings even with some of them having many flaws, surface noise, etc. So, what about this recording- well I rolled the dice and won big time! It is nothing short of amazing. It is not absolutely flawless with one or two pops, but it is so near flawless that its a keeper! With this amazing compilation of Elvis recordings from the mono early years to the Stereo years you hear the history of recording- this phenomenal experience alone is worth the ticket to ride! These LP's are a stunning reproduction of Elvis recordings in true audiophile grade detail and quiet surface noise. Please allow me a redundant comment- Fan or not this pair of LP's feeds you and your system an epic feast of American recorded music history that everyone should own period! As far as Elusive Disc is concerned, so far so amazing! Seems their attention to detail from packaging to quality control is a step above the competition, thus far!
