The Number of the Beast was Iron Maiden's first album to feature Bruce Dickinson. It was released in 1982 and delivered Maiden's first Top 40 (#33). It was certified RIAA Platinum in the U.S. The album also hit #1 in the U.K. and has been certified Gold or Platinum in seven countries. The Number of the Beast includes the legendary singles "The Number of the Beast" and "Run to the Hills."

This album has been remastered from the original analog source to deliver the music to listeners exactly the way the artist and recording engineer intended. The process was overseen by longtime Maiden recording engineer Tony Newton and approved by Maiden founding member Steve Harris.
