180g Audiophile Vinyl Mastered by Friday Music's Joe Reagoso from the Original Warner Bros. Tapes!
1987 was a big year for Los Lobos and a huge blockbuster movie called La Bamba based on the life and times of the late great Richie Valens. Its success truly made way for a number one soundtrack companion LP, which rode to the top of both the sales and airplay charts with multiple format hit records for over a year.
The box office smash featured some of the biggest songs of that year with Los Loboss #1 smash hit single La Bamba as well as seven more Los Lobos rockin champions like Come On Lets Go, Framed, and the torch ballad Richie Valens was so well remembered for, Donna. Superstars like Brian Setzer also contributed to the #1 soundtrack too with tunes like Summertime Blues and Bo Diddley's own rockin' Who Do You Love. Carlos Santana was also on hand for the film score and through it all, the La Bamba LP will forever be known as one of rock's finest movie and musical soundtracks ever recorded.
Friday Music is proud to announce the first-time 180g Audiophile Vinyl release of the Los Lobos multiplatinum smash La Bamba - The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.
