Instrumental Rock Quartet's Ambitious 6th Album on Vinyl LP!
Featuring Spoken Words from Emma Ruth Rundle & Clutch Singer Neil Fallon!
Over the last 16 years, Northern Ireland's instrumental rock quartet And So I Watch You from Afar have defied the layman's definition of post-rock by absorbing new ideas and pushing the boundaries of their intricate and ecstatic guitar-based compositions. Nothing in their repertoire comes close to the ambition of their 2022 project—the multimedia piece Jettison. The album is a memorable experience that transports the listener away from the tumultuous times and into a blissful musical utopia.
The whole of Jettison is a magnificent blend of punchy post-rock and ethereal orchestration. By turns exhilarating and meditative, this is music to lift the spirit in troubled times.
It's brave, bold and different to anything they've done before, a resounding return from a band who are never afraid to rip it up and start again. Long may they stun.
Jettison is such an inspiring and moving score of music that will forever change whatever anyone has thought the band to be into something new. Whatever that new is, Jettison proves it will be awe inspiring.
A truly exhilarating record.
